If there is anything to love about this man it's his love and passion for the game of hockey. The guy is 45 and made another debut with yet another team. If you count his international teams the guy has worn 12 different professional jerseys. That's a lot of traveling.
Most of his career, Jaromir Jagr played for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was able to play with Mario Lemuix. A lot of people in Pittsburgh says that Crosby's legacy has been cemented but no one talks about how Jagr is second only to Lemuix in every offensive category in Penguins history. He also has a couple of stanley cup rings with the Penguins.
Jaromir Jagr would sign a multi million dollar contract with the Capitals in 2001. One of Jagr's teammates in Pittsburgh was Robert Lang. Lang and Jagr would reunite in 2002. The Capitals would make the playoffs that year, but in attempt to save money Jagr would be traded to the Rangers in January of 2004 for Anson Carter.
In 2006 Jaromir Jagr became the Rangers' single season all time leader in goals with 53 goals.
In the 2006-2007 season Jagr became the 16th player to score 600 career goals and the 12th player to get 1500 career points.
In November of 2007 Jagr became the first player to score at least one goal in 53 different arenas.
In 2008 Jaromir Jagr went to the KHL and would play for 3 seasons.
In 2011 Jagr returned to the NHL signing with the Flyers. He would help lead them to the second round but the Flyers would be eliminated to the Devils in the second round.
In 2012 Jagr signed with the Stars. Jagr became the 12th player to reach at least 1500 assists against the Wild in February of 2013. He would be traded to the Bruins in April of 2013 where he was able to make the Stanley Cup Finals. Jaromir Jagr's appearance in the finals marked the largest gap between Stanley Cup Finals by a player.
In 2013 Jaromir Jagr signed with the Devils. He scored on October 7th which was his 23rd anniversary of his first goal which was against the Devils. In January of 2015 while with New Jersey Jagr became the oldest player to score a hat trick.
Jaromir Jagr would be traded to the Panthers in February of 2015. On his 45th birthday Jagr recorded his 1900th point and is the second player in league history to reach the milestone.
In October of 2017 Jagr would sign a 1 year deal with the Calgary Flames. Jaromir has stated throughout his career that he's always wanted to play for a team in Canada and was surprised that Calgary signed him due to the fact that they're doing a youth movement in Calgary.
Jagr has already been having an impact on the team considering that the team is currently on a 3 game winning streak.

Monahan's OT goal puts Flames past Kings 4-3 in Jagr's debut
Sean Monahan scored 1:02 into overtime and the Calgary Flames rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night in Jaromir Jagr's season debut.
Matthew Tkachuk scored two goals and tied it with 9:01 left in the third period for the Flames, who have three wins in their first four games. Mike Smith's scoreless streak ended just shy of 140 minutes, but the veteran goalie made 42 saves.
Dustin Brown scored the tying and go-ahead goals on artful deflections early in the third period for the Kings, who lost for the first time under new coach John Stevens. Captain Anze Kopitar also scored, and Jonathan Quick made 33 saves.
Michael Frolik also scored for Calgary, and Monahan ended it with his second goal of the season.
The 45-year-old Jagr played 15 shifts and didn't record a shot on goal, but still nearly scored on his opening shift in a solid debut with the Flames. The second-leading scorer in league history began his 24th NHL season by suiting up for his ninth NHL franchise and immediately making an impact.
Jagr posted a 46-point campaign with Florida last season, and he had several teams interested in him. The Czech star eventually signed a one-year, $1 million deal with Calgary and debuted one week later.
After Tkachuk and Frolik scored in the first period, Kopitar got the Kings going in the second with his third goal in LA's three games. That's the quickest goal-scoring start to a season for the Kings captain since 2011-12, when he scored 76 points and led Los Angeles to the Stanley Cup title.
Rookie forward Alex Iafallo got his first NHL point on Brown's tying goal 14 seconds into the third period. Brown deflected Drew Doughty's shot for that first goal, and he expertly redirected Derek Forbort's shot for the go-ahead goal 1:44 later.
Brown is off to an outstanding start after a rough few seasons with the Kings, who stripped the two-time Stanley Cup champion's captaincy last year. The physical forward needed 17, 34, 19 and 15 games to score his first three goals in each of Los Angeles' previous four seasons.
But Tkachuk tied it later in the period, whistling a shot past Quick's pad for the second two-goal game of his career.
NOTES: The Kings' loss leaves the expansion Golden Knights as the only unbeaten team in the Pacific Division. Vegas is off to the first 3-0-0 start by a first-year franchise in NHL history. ... The LA Galaxy's Romain Alessandrini dropped the ceremonial first puck. The French winger has been the brightest spot in a dismal year for the five-time MLS champion franchise, racking up 11 goals and 10 assists in his outstanding in his first season in the U.S. ... Kings F Kyle Clifford left in the second period with an upper-body injury.

Smith makes 43 saves to lift Flames over Ducks 2-0
Mike Smith made 43 saves and the Calgary Flames ended a 25-game skid at Honda Center with a 2-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Monday night.
Calgary got goals from Sean Monahan and Mikael Backlund. It hadn't won at Anaheim since Jan. 19, 2004.
The game was scoreless until late in the second period, when Kevin Bieksa's cross-checking minor gave the Flames their fourth power play. Calgary was unsuccessful until Johnny Gaudreau fired a cross-ice pass from above the far-side circle to Kris Versteeg on the far post. Versteeg's initial shot was blocked by Cam Fowler, but the puck rebounded to Monahan, who beats a leaning John Gibson.
The Ducks carried the play in the third. Midway through the period, Ryan Getzlaf lost a battle along the boards. The puck got through to Michael Frolik, who skated it up the ice. Frolik sent a pass through the legs of Brandon Montour to an on-rushing Backlund, who beat Gibson top-shelf.
Smith survived a mad scramble in the final minute to preserve his 34th career shutout and first with Calgary.
NOTES: Ducks F Ondrej Kase left the game in the first period with an upper-body injury and did not return. ... Ryan Getzlaf and Jaycob Megna made their season debuts for Anaheim. ... McDavid nets hat trick, Oilers blank Flames 3-0 in opener
Connor McDavid scored a hat trick in the season opener, Cam Talbot made 26 saves and the Edmonton Oilers beat the Calgary Flames 3-0 on Wednesday night.
Mike Smith stopped 42 shots in his debut for the Flames, who fell to 0-7-1 in their last eight openers.
McDavid, the NHL MVP last season, began the scoring 11 minutes into the first period when he beat a helpless Smith after taking a pass from Leon Draisaitl.
Talbot had to be sharp on several occasions to keep the second period scoreless, although the Oilers led 29-21 in shots after 40 minutes.
Edmonton went up 2-0 eight minutes into the third as McDavid turned on the jets to blow past a pair of Calgary defenders and beat Smith up high on a breakaway. It was his third breakaway of the game and 150th career point.
McDavid put his third goal into an empty net as Draisaitl set him up again after a crushing hit by Milan Lucic pried the puck loose.

Rangers beat Flames 4-3, Versteeg loses jersey, gets ejected
Although the New York Rangers weren't happy with every aspect of the game, they were glad to get a needed win at home.
Chris Kreider and Jesper Fast scored 3:12 apart in the middle of the third period to help the Rangers beat the Calgary Flames 4-3 Sunday for their second victory in their last seven at Madison Square Garden.
"We're aware obviously of the record we've had here the past few weeks and it's something we want to improve," said New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist, who stopped 29 shots. "Obviously there's no better feeling than to win in front of your own fans. ... This is the place where you gain the most confidence when you win."
Michael Grabner had a goal and an assist, Rick Nash also scored and J.T. Miller had two assists to help the Rangers win for the fifth time in seven games overall and improve to 5-0-1 in their last six against Calgary.
"I don't think we had our `A' stuff, but we did a good job defending and not getting hurt by it," Rangers center Derek Stepan said.
Flames veteran Kris Versteeg got ejected after losing his jersey during a fight in the third period, and waved to jeering fans as he skated off.
Versteeg, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with Chicago and not known as a brawler, tangled with Pavel Buchnevich and got his jersey pulled over his head during the scrap. The 30-year-old forward was tossed because, by rule, his jersey hadn't been properly tied down.
The Flames, who practiced on an outdoor rink in Central Park on Saturday, had won three in a row.
Matthew Tkachuk had a goal and an assist, and Dougie Hamilton and Troy Brouwer also scored for the Flames. Brian Elliott finished with 28 saves and Mikael Backlund had two assists.
"I thought we deserved to get some points out of this building," Calgary coach Glen Gulutzan said. "These are the types of games that make you better and we were good tonight, we just didn't get the points."
The Rangers outlasted Calgary in a furious third period that began with the score tied at 1.
Kreider put the Rangers ahead 3-2 as he brought the puck up the left side and sent a shot from outside the left circle that deflected in off the skate of defenseman Dennis Wideman for his career high-tying 21st goal at 8:20.
Fast made it 4-2 with about 8 1/2 minutes left off a pass from Miller.
The Flames took advantage of a Rangers giveaway less than a minute later as Backlund fired a shot that deflected off Tkachuk past Lundqvist.
Grabner gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead at 1:54 of the third, taking a pass from Brady Skjei in the right circle and putting it into the top right corner for his 23rd.
Brouwer tied it at 4:40 as he got the deflection of Johnny Gaudreau's shot and put it past Lundqvist for his ninth.
Nash appeared to give the Rangers the lead in the final second of the second period, but it was waved off after a review showed the puck went in after the clock had expired.
After the Rangers outshot the Flames 15-13 in the opening period, the chances slowed down in the second.
"It was an awful period from both sides," Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said. "In the third, I thought we executed better ... and we were able to get two points."
Hamilton gave the Flames a 1-0 lead on the power play when his shot from the point deflected off Rangers defenseman Nick Holden and past Lundqvist's glove side for his eighth at 6:59 of the first.
The Rangers tied it on their own power play less than two minutes later. Nash got a pass in front from Stepan in front and his second attempt went in for his 15th at 8:55. Ryan McDonagh also had an assist on the goal for his 200th career point.
New York scored on the man advantage for the second straight game after going 0 for 15 over their previous five.
NOTES: Gaudreau had an assist for the fourth straight game, giving him six points (one goal, five assists) in that stretch. ... The Flames fell to 5-1-0 this season when Hamilton scored a goal. ... Hamilton's 3 points leads Flames to 5-2 win over Senators
Dougie Hamilton scored his first two goals and added an assist to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Friday night for their third straight win.
Sam Bennett, Sean Monahan and Michael Frolik also scored for Calgary, and Brian Elliott stopped 31 shots.
Erik Karlsson and Kyle Turris scored for Ottawa. Andrew Hammond started in goal and had three saves on four shots before leaving with a lower-body injury after one period. Chris Dreidger replaced him and gave up four goals on 15 shots.
With the score tied 2-2 halfway through the second, Hamilton retrieved the puck from the sideboards, spun and whipped a shot from a bad angle over the Dreidger's shoulder.
Calgary put the game away on goals by Monahan and Frolik 2:46 apart midway through the third. Monahan scored his fourth on a wicked slap shot off a pass from Johnny Gaudreau, who had his second assist of the night. Frolik completed the scoring with his fourth of the year.
After a rocky first three starts in a Flames uniform in which he gave up 14 goals on 87 shots, Elliott has been much sharper his last three starts yielding just five goals on 88 shots.
Ottawa's 2-1 lead to start the second period didn't last long. Bennett fired in a centering pass from Alex Chiasson just 1:25 into the period to tie it.
Bennett has goals in three consecutive games and has six points during a four-game point streak.
The story of the first period was Ottawa's 30th-ranked power play, which looked anything like that.
Trailing 1-0, the Senators needed just 4 seconds on their first man-advantage for Karlsson to tie the game.
Two minutes later, Ottawa went back to the extra man and converted again, with Turris' shot eluding Elliott, who was screened by Zack Smith.
NOTES: Senators starting goalie Craig Anderson, coming off a shutout in Vancouver on Tuesday, was granted a leave from the team to attend to a personal matter. ... Driedger, who played three seasons of junior hockey for the Calgary Hitmen (WHL), appeared in his third NHL game - all in relief. ... Elliott solid in return to St. Louis, Flames beat Blues 4-1
Brian Elliott got a warm welcome in his old home.
Elliott stopped 23 shots in his return to St. Louis, Johnny Gaudreau and Sam Bennett each had a goal and an assist and the Calgary Flames beat the Blues 4-1 on Tuesday night.
"I had so much fun playing in front of these fans and in this building that I wanted to do it again even though it's with another team," Elliott said. "The guys did a heck of a job in front of me to get that win for me."
Elliott was traded from St. Louis to Calgary in June, and the 17,337 in attendance serenaded him with chants of "Moose," his nickname, on his first couple of saves.
"I knew how much the fans kind of loved that. It was special for me hearing that and really kind of got me into the game and have that feeling a little bit," Elliott said. "I'm sure they don't like the result now, but it meant a lot."
Elliott's best save came late in the second when he slid his right pad across the crease to rob Nail Yakupov on a rebound attempt.
"He reads the play so well," Flames defenseman Mark Giordano said. "A lot of their one-timers, if you really watch, he's already there before the puck is shot. It's a confidence booster for us. We know we can give up some shots and he's going to be there to stop them for us."
Dennis Wideman and Deryk Engelland also scored to help the Flames snap a seven-game losing streak at St. Louis.
Kevin Shattenkirk scored for the Blues on a two-man advantage in the third, and Carter Hutton made 26 saves. After winning their first three games, the Blues are 1-2-1 in their last four.
The Blues weren't surprised by Elliott's effort.
"He was great tonight, but we didn't make it too hard on him either," Shattenkirk said. "He's too good of a goalie to not have traffic in front of him, to not have grade-A scoring chances. We didn't really do anything to make him uncomfortable."
Wideman's power-play goal early in the first ended a string of 19 straight penalty kills for the Blues. Wideman gave the Flames the 1-0 lead after former Blue Troy Brouwer won the puck along the boards and found Wideman alone in the slot.
Engelland added to the lead midway through the first after Kris Versteeg sent him in alone on Hutton with a pass. The play started after Vladimir Tarasenko whiffed on a shot on the other end, sending the Flames in on an odd-man rush.
Bennett's wrist shot went in through a maze of traffic early in the second to give Calgary a 3-0 lead. Bennett had an assist on Engelland's goal, giving him his second multipoint game of the season, both against St. Louis.
The game was also a homecoming for Calgary's Matthew Tkachuk, son of former Blue Keith Tkachuk, who had an assist on Bennett's goal. Matthew Tkachuk, the 6th overall pick by the Flames, was one of four St. Louis area natives taken in the first round of this year's amateur draft.
"It was fun," Matthew Tkachuk said. "Kind of an eye-opening experience too with the play and the rink you kind of grew up in, so it's great to get the win. I had a lot of people here watching so I'm sure they're pretty happy."
NOTES: Blues F Alexander Steen played in his 500th game with St. Louis. ... Giordano played in his 600th game with Calgary. ... Brouwer and Elliott both joined the Flames in the offseason and received a standing ovation after the Blues played a video tribute to them midway through the first period.

Versteeg connects in shootout to lift Flames over Blackhawks
Kris Versteeg got a big shootout goal against his old team. Brian Elliott finally got his first win with his new one.
Versteeg scored the lone goal in the tiebreaker in the seventh round to give the Calgary Flames a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night and just their second victory this season.
Versteeg, who won Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks in 2010 and 2015, faked Corey Crawford, pulled to a stop while dragging the puck and then fired a wrist shot into a wide-open net.
"It was definitely a little nerve-wracking when everyone kept missing," said Versteeg, who took part in a shootout for the first time since the 2014-15 season. "To go in and score is a nice feeling.
"I've probably taken two shots (in the shootout) in the last three years. It doesn't happen too frequently anymore, so when I do, I just kind of black out."
Elliott made 31 saves through overtime and blocked all seven in the shootout to win for the first time with Calgary after three losses. Acquired from St. Louis in June, Elliott had allowed 14 goals in his first three starts for the Flames.
"I definitely wanted that one," Elliott said. "We haven't been playing like we wanted to and the guys came out and had a heck of an effort."
Elliott was at his best with the game tied at 2 late in the third and in overtime, when Chicago had a power play and outshot Calgary 6-1. He made two point-blank saves on Richard Panik in the final three minutes of regulation, including a toe save from the edge of the crease as time ran out.
"It was a rebound right to him in the slot, and I just tried to throw the furniture at it," Elliott said. "Got a piece of it with my skate. It was good but I was on my butt and swimming to get back up."
Sam Bennett and Sean Monahan scored in regulation for Calgary, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
Patrick Kane and Brian Campbell connected in regulation for Chicago.
Campbell's goal, his first with the Blackhawks since rejoining them as a free agent in the offseason, tied it 2-all at 4:12 of the third. Campbell's feed from the right circle, intended for Artem Anisimov, deflected in off Calgary defenseman T.J. Brodie.
Crawford blocked 29 shots through overtime and made several close in saves early to keep it close.
The Blackhawks' sputtering penalty killers permitted two power-play goals in five chances to the Flames, who entered the game having scored just once in 25 opportunities with the man advantage. Chicago has allowed 14 goals in 26 short-handed situations this season and at least one power-play goal in each of its seven games.
"It seems like it (penalty-killing) finds a different way each time," coach Joel Quenneville said.
The Flames connected on their first two power-play chances before the Blackhawks killed the final three.
"I think we got more involved as the game progressed as far as having bodies and pucks to the net," Quenneville said. "But not enough initially and it took us a while to get into that department."
Bennett knocked in Calgary's second power-play goal of the season at 4:51 of the first period. He converted a rebound of Dougie Hamilton's shot from the right circle after outmuscling Chicago defenders to the loose puck.
Kane tied it at 1 at 1:32 of the second period with a rising shot from the right circle over Elliott's glove.
Monahan converted the Flames' second power-play chance at 6:52 of the second to put Calgary ahead 2-1.
NOTES: Chicago rookie D Gustav Forsling suffered an undisclosed injury in the second period and didn't return. ... Veteran Blackhawks D Michal Rozsival made his season debut after sitting out Chicago's first six games as a healthy scratch. First-year D Michal Kempny was a scratch for the first time. ... Chicago rookie F Vincent Hinostroza was scratched for a third straight game. ... Calgary rookie F Matthew Tkachuk, son of former NHL standout F Keith Tkachuk, was scratched for the second straight game.

Perron has 3 goals, assist as Blues beat Flames 6-4
David Perron had nothing to show for his hard work during St. Louis' first five games of the season. That changed with a big night against Calgary.
Perron had three goals and an assist to lead the Blues to a 6-4 win over the Flames on Saturday night.
"I feel like I've played some good hockey," said Perron, who signed with the Blues as a free agent in the offseason. "It didn't materialize into points or goals, but tonight it did.
"I've got to keep working hard. I was just staying in the moment and concentrating on making sure the next shift was going to be a good one and it was a good one tonight."
Paul Stastny, Patrik Berglund and Alexander Steen also scored for the Blues, while defenseman Alex Pietrangelo had two assists. Jake Allen made 23 saves to improve to 3-1-1.
Stastny had no doubt that Perron was on the verge of a breakout game.
"He's the reason basically we won, but I think more importantly it's good for his confidence," said Stastny, who scored his third goal of the season in the second period. "As a team, we saw it coming for the last couple games, which is good."
Kris Versteeg scored his first two goals of the season for the Flames, who lost their second straight at home.Micheal Ferland and Mark Giordano also scored, while Chad Johnson stopped 34 shots.
"We're working hard, we're just not working smart if we're going to be blatantly honest," Versteeg said. "We're going to have to be better next game. It's about puck management for us. We're a growing team, learning new things. But, we're going to get better."
Flames coach Glen Gulutzan didn't have any complaints about Johnson's play.
"I thought he gave us a chance and made some saves," Gulutzan said. "We hung him out to dry, pretty simple."
Calgary took a 2-1 just 3 minutes into the second thanks to two quick goals by Versteeg and Ferland.
The Blues then scored the next four goals, including two by Perron, to take control.
Perron tied it as he flipped his own rebound up and over Johnson's pad at 6:22. Stastny put St. Louis back ahead with just under eight minutes to go in the period during another power play when he tipped Steen's slap shot past Johnson.
Berglund was the beneficiary of a nice setup by Nail Yakupov for an easy tap-in goal with 1:44 left in the second.
Perron then finished off his hat trick at 6:50 of the third when he took a breakaway pass from Vladimir Tarasenko and made a couple quick moves before lifting a backhand shot over Johnson's right pad to make it 5-2.
Giordano fired a slap shot from the high slot past Allen at 9:31 of the third before Versteeg's point shot through traffic got past the St. Louis goalie with just under five minutes to go to pull the Flames within one.
Steen then scored into an empty net with 39 seconds left to seal the victory.
Allen had to be sharp to get a shoulder on a point shot fired his way by defenseman Deryk Engelland early in the game. At the other end of the ice, Johnson stood his ground to stop a puck that was redirected on net byKyle Brodziak.
Perron opened the scoring for St. Louis at 6:04 of the first period with a power-play goal when he tapped a nice pass from Robby Fabbri past Johnson.
Versteeg converted a feed from Troy Brouwer at 2:21 of the second to tie the score. Ferland backhanded a harmless-looking shot on net 35 seconds later that squeezed under Allen's glove and into the net to put the Flames ahead.
NOTES: Flames D Dennis Wideman returned to the lineup after sitting out the past three games as a healthy scratch and had two assists in his return. ... C Freddie Hamilton made his season debut for the Flames in place of rookie LW Matthew Tkachuk. Freddie, the older brother of D Dougie Hamilton, now has 34 games of NHL experience, five of them with the Flames. Dougie Hamilton has played in 266 NHL games, 88 with the Flames. ...
