Jaromir Jagr's legacy continues

If there is anything to love about this man it's his love and passion for the game of hockey.  The guy is 45 and made another debut with yet another team.  If you count his international teams the guy has worn 12 different professional jerseys.  That's a lot of traveling.

Most of his career, Jaromir Jagr played for the Pittsburgh Penguins.  He was able to play with Mario Lemuix.  A lot of people in Pittsburgh says that Crosby's legacy has been cemented but no one talks about how Jagr is second only to Lemuix in every offensive category in Penguins history.  He also has a couple of stanley cup rings with the Penguins.

Jaromir Jagr would sign a multi million dollar contract with the Capitals in 2001.  One of Jagr's teammates in Pittsburgh was Robert Lang.  Lang and Jagr would reunite in 2002.  The Capitals would make the playoffs that year, but in attempt to save money Jagr would be traded to the Rangers in January of 2004 for Anson Carter.

In 2006 Jaromir Jagr became the Rangers' single season all time leader in goals with 53 goals. 

In the 2006-2007 season Jagr became the 16th player to score 600 career goals and the 12th player to get 1500 career points. 

In November of 2007 Jagr became the first player to score at least one goal in 53 different arenas.

In 2008 Jaromir Jagr went to the KHL and would play for 3 seasons.

In 2011 Jagr returned to the NHL signing with the Flyers.  He would help lead them to the second round but the Flyers would be eliminated to the Devils in the second round.

In 2012 Jagr signed with the Stars.  Jagr became the 12th player to reach at least 1500 assists against the Wild in February of 2013.  He would be traded to the Bruins in April of 2013 where he was able to make the Stanley Cup Finals.  Jaromir Jagr's appearance in the finals marked the largest gap between Stanley Cup Finals by a player. 

In 2013 Jaromir Jagr signed with the Devils.  He scored on October 7th which was his 23rd anniversary of his first goal which was against the Devils.  In January of 2015 while with New Jersey Jagr became the oldest player to score a hat trick. 

Jaromir Jagr would be traded to the Panthers in February of 2015.  On his 45th birthday Jagr recorded his 1900th point and is the second player in league history to reach the milestone.

In October of 2017 Jagr would sign a 1 year deal with the Calgary Flames.  Jaromir has stated throughout his career that he's always wanted to play for a team in Canada and was surprised that Calgary signed him due to the fact that they're doing a youth movement in Calgary. 

Jagr has already been having an impact on the team considering that the team is currently on a 3 game winning streak.
