Bruins beat Canadiens in preseason opener

Jesse GabrielleAnders Bjork and Tim Schaller scored less than four minutes apart to help the Boston Bruins defeat the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2, at Videotron Centre in Quebec City.
It was the first preseason game for each team.
Brendan Gallagher scored 50 seconds into the second period, and Jeremy Gregoire scored at 2:18 to give the Canadiens a 2-0 lead.
But Gabrielle made it 2-1 at 6:53 before Bjork's power-play goal tied it 2-2 at 9:26. Schaller scored shorthanded at 10:48 to give the Bruins the 3-2 lead.
Bruins goalie Malcolm Subban allowed two goals on 14 shots. Zane McIntyre made saves on all 11 shots he faced.
Al Montoya made 15 saves for the Canadiens; Zachary Fucale allowed one goal on 13 shots.
